European institutions and EU member states have pledged to provide Ukraine with at least €21 billion in military aid in 2024, said Josep Borrell, the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. This was reported by the FT.
“All of us, the EU member states and European institutions, have already provided €28 billion worth of military equipment to Ukraine. According to the list provided by the member states, we are talking about €21 billion of military aid for Ukraine, which is included in the budgets for 2024,” said Josep Borrell.
He noted that this figure is not final, as some EU member states have not yet announced the amounts they have committed to allocate.
