Ukrainian drone manufacturer F-Drones, represented in the United States by Ukrainian Defense Drones Tech Corp., has secured a contract with the Pentagon to supply 2,000 F10 FPV drones, according to Defender Media.
While the contract has already been signed, exports cannot begin until the company receives the necessary authorization from Ukraine’s export control authorities. The export license application is currently under review by the State Service for Export Control and the interagency export control commission. The licensing process is being supported by Spetstechnoexport.

F-Drones said the proceeds from the contract will be invested in research and development, as well as in localizing the production of components in Ukraine that meet U.S. national defense procurement requirements.
The company is also set to participate in the second phase of the Pentagon’s Drone Dominance program, which is scheduled to begin in August. A total of 48 companies have been invited to the next stage, with up to ten manufacturers expected to be selected for procurement contracts covering as many as 60,000 drones.
The Pentagon contract marks another milestone for F-Drones in the U.S. defense market. The company’s F10 drone previously ranked among the top-performing systems during the first phase of Drone Dominance, helping secure its place in subsequent evaluations and procurement opportunities.
Ukrainian drone manufacturers have been gaining increasing recognition within U.S. defense programs. Earlier, the first phase of Drone Dominance was won by the fiber-optic FPV drone Shrike 10 Fiber developed by SkyFall, which achieved a score of 99.3 out of 100. Ukrainian companies BlueBird Tech and General Chereshnya have also advanced to the second round of the program.
Industry observers note that beyond the immediate value of the contract, cooperation with the Pentagon could provide Ukrainian defense technology companies with long-term access to one of the world’s largest defense procurement markets and strengthen Ukraine’s position in the global drone industry.
